I may have asked this in the past, but what have you found to be the most dad-friendly carrier? Today I finally followed through and wore LO in the Tula while out to see if the OT was right that it was calming! He seemed to like it, so I'd like to find something DH can wear. Technically we can share, but it's annoying to have to readjust all the straps, and I think he gets lazy and doesn't fit the thing properly.

Definitely our Ergo. My DH uses it more than I do.

DH liked Ergo. He liked the Bjorn too but once he tried the Ergo he never put the Bjorn on again.

Another vote for Ergo. It's not that big of a pain to readjust between the both of us.

I never tried an Ergo but DH definitely liked our Beco Gemini more than our Tula.

My DH loves our Beco Gemini. I haven't even used it yet (LO is 5 months old and I have a k'tan for myself) but my DH uses it all the time!

DH uses all our carriers except my ring slings, last night he asked about using those too. I hated when we'd both use the ergo and having to adjust the straps. I still debate buying another just for him.

DH will Babywear with our Ergo. He doesn't like my ring sling because he says he isn't comfortable with the way it works. I think he just doesn't love the print.
I am buying myself a TULA and giving Dh more control over the ergo.

I just got an onya and DH likes that a lot better than the ergo.

we have a gray boba 3g that we shared. adjusting the straps wasn't a big deal!

My husband hated all soft structured carriers and refused to use them. He just carried her. His favorite carrier was our external frame Kelty backback carrier - he used that for years. I think he still would if she'd fit into it.

DH uses our Beco gemini. He doesn't use it often enough that if consider getting him his own and the straps are really easy to adjust. I let him pick the pattern for it.

Hmm, I might look into the Beco Gemini again since I was going to get that before I learned about the Tula!
Is there a specific reason guys like the Ergo though?

We have the original Ergo and like @Espion: I got brown to make it more unisex. DH uses it too and the adjustments to make it fit after he's been wearing it are really minimal.
@spaniellove: I don't think my husband liked the ergo for any specific reason - its just all we have, I picked it because it got such good reviews everywhere and seemed very functional. And it has been.

@spaniellove: we have both an ergo and a tula and both prefer the tula now that our son is over 20 lbs, the ergo was great before but the straps aren't as padded nor is the back as high as the tula.

DH loves the beco Gemini. So do I but I also love lots other carriers, tula included.

We used a Boba 3G that's a black pinstripe, and we both loved it. I think technically it was a special edition "Diaper Dude" (eyeroll) but it looks like they still sell it. Plus it was very easy to adjust the straps. Nice for when we were out and about and wanted to switch.

M baby wore our best friends girl several times in the Ergo and loved it. My sister gave us her old one. As long as our girl tolarates being worn I think he will carry more than I do.

It really depends on the guy. I know quite a few dads who are pretty hardcore into wrapping, and many who like SSCs. You could maybe just ask him what he likes/doesn't like about the Tula and just go from there.

We each have Lillebaby carriers. They can adjust for 6 carrying positions. DH likes his.

DH loves our Ergo Performance. He thought the style was more masculine than the standard Ergo. We both use it though.

I think given that LO is close to 20 lbs and we're both starting to really like the Tula, I'm going to get a second one. It seems to provide a lot of coverage for deep pressure that the OT wanted!

Bump!
I have a pink beco Gemini because DH said he had no interest in babywearing. Well, now that she's here, not only do we both love it, but it's the only thing that calms her when she cries from 4pm-8pm every day (colicky anyone?) He is fine with the pink, but it's annoying to constantly keep adjusting the straps between the both of us, and Father's Day is coming up!

I will just caution that if your DH is a big guy the ergo might not work. My husband is really large (6'6" 250) and the ergo doesn't fit comfortably around his midsection.
