Did any of y'all get your hubby's a "daddy present" when you gave birth? I'd love to get the hubby something sentimental to commemorate our son's birth this Friday. Any suggestions? It doesn't have to be something extravagant.

I didn't get a push present, so he really didn't get anything. Just a beautiful baby girl!

What about a watch? Or a key chain with baby's inital or DOB?

I got him a nice leather travel case for his toiletries. He loves it and used it in the hospital when we were there for our son's birth.

I got DH a new electric guitar as a combination bday/thanks for being awesome during my pregnancy present.
He was thrilled.

Maybe a daddy picture frame. If he has an office or desk he could take it when here turned to work.

@Smurfette: I am getting induced on Friday, but I'll only be 37 weeks. The baby is measuring small and my amniotic fluid level is low.

That's so nice of you! What about a little new dad gift basket? You can put in some snacks and drinks for the hospital stay, like a PP said a Daddy picture frame, magazines or a book.
