I am beyond excited. Saturday my husband and I are having a very much needed date night. We are going to a restaurant and then going to see The Hunger Games.
Mavrick will be staying with my sister so we can really enjoy being alone. Plus, I think it's our last "alone" time until baby sienna arrives in may.

I wish we did it more, but alas... we aren't very good at planning stuff. Do you go on date nights often?

hurrayyyy!!! I love date nights. We try to do at least one a month. Some months we get two. It depends on how many babysitters we can get.

Yay date night! DH and I haven't gone on a real date since the baby's been born! We go out a ton, but we always take LO with us

Fun! I think we are doing a date night on friday night, and then we will do another one the weekend before the induction.

Yay, fun! We try to go at least once a month, but usually twice. Since I just had surgery my mom is staying with us to help with lo. The only alone time we get is every night for about an hour my parents will go for a walk with my dog and lo. Its soooooo nice!

@artbee: Oh how sweet!!!! Usually when my mom comes and takes Mavrick for a walk, we take advantage and clean up the dining room tables, dishes etc.
Our alone time is when he goes to bed. But by 8:15 i'm pooped. ha

@blushink: Oh, I posted it on our May Mommy thread, but not anywhere else. We are going to induce in week 38 due to PIH and GD, plus the epigastric pain from my surgery. My OB is worried about the bay getting stressed, or me getting HELLP syndrome. I am 35 1/2 weeks now, so about 3 weeks until baby will be here!

We've been really blessed to get alot of date nights... but that's because my mom likes to have dates with DS quite often.
We did just have our last date night before new lo arrives this past weekend & it was really nice! Definitely much needed & appreciated!
I'm sure that once this little arrives we'll get back to having date nights but not for awhile since I want to ebf. =/.... Date nights in it'll be!

Hubby and I are sans kiddos right now, but our jobs are pretty demanding so we rarely get date nights. We have to plan it really well in order to get date nights. LOL!

I love date nights. They seem even more important now because my bil just moved to the city and is staying with us while he house hunts. Our next date won't be until the 17th, which is our anniversary.

Our "date nights" (my husband hates calling them date nights) usually are lazy nights in. Our favorite kind! Where we take the night off, grab take out or make a extra nice dinner and watch a movie on TV or do a Series marathon. I guess that will be super handy for "date nights" in after baby goes to sleep! Especially since we don't have family that lives nearby to babysit.
We're real homebodies and movies have gotten SO expensive we hardly go unless it's a movie that's worth watching on the big screen for graphics. Or something him or I REALLY want to watch. The next one out is Avengers but it's right after baby arrives so I don't think he'll be watching that one for a while even though my mom will be here!

We try to go on date nights weekly, but we don’t have kids yet, so I’m sure that will change after LO arrives.
At my baby shower this weekend, we got 2 offers for babysitting from the very sweet and responsible pre-teen daughters of friends of ours, and my parents are only 45 minutes away, so we’re aiming to have a date night (sans baby) at least once a month after LO arrives, and more as she gets older.

Have fun! We haven't had a date night since our second LO 8 months ago! Before she was born, we had date nights every Friday. Hopefully we can start it up again soon.
