Woohoo! Was FaceTiming with my ILs last night to thank them for our anniversary gift. And they asked if it's alright if they come visit end of Sept/early October. Um, of course!
And they offered to watch M one of the days so my husband and I can go out.
WOOHOO!
I hope Dark Knight will still be in some cheapie theater by then. My husband desperately wants to see it.

Last Saturday! We went out for dinner, yogurt and went to Target. Nothing terribly exciting but it was fun!

We haven't gone out alone since the baby came 3 months ago! We tried to when my sisters were here visiting, but DH got stuck working very late. I am hoping we can get out soon, even with the baby would be fine with me!

We went out for 2 hours to the restaurant downstairs from our apartment while my MIL was here visiting. She would have babysat for longer but I felt extreme guilt--it's bad enough I have to leave her for work, but now leaving her during time after work! (we went after LO fell asleep for the night, this mommy guilt is crazy!)

@bpcmarj: aw you should, even with baby! We went out to breakfast the other day. She got up early so I was like what the heck, let's get started early and go have a family breakfast!
@mrsjazz: Yes, it is! It's weird I'll feel better going out during the day. Right now I'm the only one that can really put her down consistently -darn boob!- so I'll be so afraid of her waking up.
