Ok, parents. My head is spinning a little and I need some input.

My district has a 2.5 hour UPK program for all 4 yo residing in the district. The only aftercare option listed on their site is a different daycare than one my girls go to. I had known this for a while. Therefore, all along we were planning on staying at our daycare for PreK.

Well, today, in my daycares PreK enrollment information I find out that they do, in fact, provide after care for my districts UPK program.

I'm not sure what to do!

Pros:
Savings of ~$280/month. I don't know about you but this is not chump change for us.
She will be familiar with her elementary school. Know friends that she will enter kindergarten with.

Cons:
Busing; the thought of my 4 yo being bused daily to daycare makes me a little sad! My daycare will pick her up and bus her to daycare. I feel more comfortable with this option than if our school district bus her. My daycare buses have car seat install options
Being at two different schools, every day, 5 days a week. It seems like it might be a bit much?

Things to note: my daycare will follow the same "curriculum" as my district. I've know the teacher at daycare for 3 years plus and I feel very comfortable that DD will learn what she needs to from her.

WWYD?? I had already sent back her PreK/kinder registration form back to the school district, indicating she won't be attending UPK. So I'm assuming we have to make up our mind pretty soon.
We both work full time.

Would love input from teachers as well.
