So in general, I love my daycare, and I really love the teachers in Xander's class. BUT...

The daycare provides food for the kids (which is a semi-awesome perk), but some (probably many) of the food isn't suitable for Xander because of his dairy allergy. Well, the past couple few days, his teachers have mentioned to me how well he's been doing because they've been giving him pieces of toast and the toast MIGHT have some butter on it and he hasn't had a reaction (!!!!!!). And then YESTERDAY, one of the teachers told me she thinks maybe he's not allergic to milk if it's in baked items because she gave Xander pieces of pancake (pancakes are GENERALLY made with both milk and butter) and he didn't have a reaction!

I almost fainted. These people are apparently EXPERIMENTING on my child to see HOW allergic he is to dairy! Xander's first taste of dairy at 7 months resulted in anaphylaxis and a trip to the ER!

I told them very clearly "You really shouldn't be experimenting with him and giving him ANYTHING that contains or MIGHT contain dairy." But now I'm so nervous!!!

Gahhhh, I loved these teachers so much, but now I think they're not taking his allergies very seriously!!!!
