@Mrs. Cowgirl: How funny, one of the moms in my local group recommended that park to me last night! We'd love to meet up, as long as I don't need to go away for work (my boss is leaving and there's some transition so I may be needed in the office.)
M usually takes an AM nap, so closer to noon would work best with his nap, however, I'm happy to just stick him in the car and let him do a quick car nap that day if earlier is better for everyone else.

I think I can make it, my busy time ended last weekend. Is the park fun if your LO is really little? Brennan will be 5 months. I guess we could bring a blanket so they can lay on that.

@krsmall: The friends who recommended it have 10m olds who are either crawling or just sitting and they all said it was fun. M is crawling so if you have LO on a blanket they can interact. And by interact I mean maybe they can steal toys from each other and generally do the opposite of sharing, which is what he does with the other babies at daycare. *Sigh*

@krsmall: I haven't been to this park, but I kind of feel like at 5 months, they're just interested in the world in general, and enjoy looking at other kids, so just getting out of the house to see new stuff counts as a good time for them

That looks soooo fun! LO is only 5.5 months but loves staring at other kids. We should be able to make it!

@krsmall: @duckduckkristen: @Lozza: yay! can't wait to see everyone! and yes, blankets to sit on are great -- there's a lot of open space on the edges of the playground. my friend also came with her younger one in a carrier and just walked around with him and he seemed to really enjoy just taking everything in

LO naps at noon, so we might shoot for getting there at 10, and then we'll just see everyone else as they arrive.
I'm bringing DH, in large part so he can deal with LO whilst I socialize. (Also, because he likes cool playgrounds). -
@krsmall: If they are too small, B and G and duckduckkristen's L can play on blankets.

It looks like the weather should be okay, maybe a little cool but no rain. -
I'm planning on bringing a blanket and some toys. The blanket is pretty big so it can fit several LOs.

LO and I may be there. We got stuck in MA for a few extra days because of Sandy so we have lots to do at home, but if we can get stuff done tomorrow I'm hoping we can make it!

hey--sorry i haven't checked the board in a while. i've heard such great things about that park, but unfortunately i won't be able to make it--we actually have a doggy playdate planned. have a great time everyone!

I had such a good time! Sorry I left early, G was hungry and I was too cold to nurse outside. We had a great time. That park is great, too.
