Dear Baby,
Why do you kick me like crazy AFTER we're done playing the kick count game!? When I press "start session" you need to kick! Not wait until after I've poked 10 kicks out of you.
Love,
Mommy.

Lol! I had an anterior placenta and had so much trouble feeling kicks! I never used my kick counter because of this & I can count on one hand how many times DH or G felt kicks.

Haha! I haven't been able to use a kick counter in any successful way because she doesn't like to move until about 6-7pm. After that, it's party time, but alllllllll day she just sits there

@runsyellowlites: DH has only felt LO kick like twice! She'll be dancing a jig in my stomach and then he puts his hand on my belly and she freezes 0_o I feel so bad for him lol!

@runsyellowlites: I have an anterior as well!! I've been lucky to feel a lot, but it's made it hard for DH to feel anything and same as @Bookworm: , as soon as DH puts his hand on my belly baby will freeze!

@Bookworm: yes me too!! I will feel baby moving like crazy, through the outside and everything. I call DH over and baby gets stage fright! He hasn't felt it yet but I'm hoping he does soon.

I have an anterior placenta as well and DS will move like crazy but when I or my hubby put our hands on the belly, he stops moving. This should make using the kick counter interesting.... lol

@Alivoo01: haha I've only been using it for fun the last 2 days. Both times he's been going NUTS and I think "wow, this is a great time for the kick counter". No sooner do I pull it up and press "start session" does he stop moving. hahaha
@char54: What is with these babies! How do they KNOW???

@.twist.: My little guy also knows when we are trying to feel him kick, he's especially good at telling when it is DH because he freezes immediately once his Daddy's hand is on my belly. At this point though, we know his routine pretty well - he kicks when I first get up to pee then come back to bed, rests all day, then the kicking starts again once I get home from work and lay down on the couch.

Our biggest problem is that I start laughing every time my husband tries to feel her kicking. It's better now that he can see her because I don't have a chance to think about how funny it is. She is way more active in the evenings and when I first wake up. I think it's because she somehow has more room to move when I'm laying down. Hopefully it's not because she's a night owl.
