My daughter kept telling me, "My butt hurts!" I thought she had to poop... but it turned out, she was just trying to tell me that she had a diaper wedgie. I finally figured it out, and felt like I had translated the Rosetta Stone!

LO has been saying bunny constantly, and only rarely in connection with actual bunnies. Finally, I figured out that bunny=banana.

Lol yes, Pena is penis and booboo means balls. He speaks well for the most part, but it was so funny when I figured out why kept saying "daddy booboo". lol

Haha im glad Olive's wedgies are all sussed out. those are no fun!
We finally figured out that when Tor was saying "Peetee" he was actually trying to say tree. I have no idea why he says it that way but we did some flash cards and he called every tree "Peetee". Perhaps because we said some trees were pretty? "Oger" is yogurt and "Tee" is trick or treat. Now I have to figure out what "Oodoo" means. Still stumped on that one.

Yes. My 2yo wanted to know where her "reeling" was last night. After much frustration, we discovered that she meant fishing rod. Aha!

I usually understand what my daughter is saying, but typically at least once per day she'll say something that I just don't get. Her response is usually to get really made at me for not understanding her. This morning she kept saying something like "I want to cah the gah". She got mad that I didn't get what she was saying, so I asked her to show me. Apparently she wanted to "color the girl" i.e. the picture of Dora the Explorer on her easel.

She speaks really well now, but for the longest time, she would call milk "no". So when we would ask her if she wanted milk and she said "no", we has to figure out if she was saying milk or no milk.
@Arden: DD1 had the same word for water!

Right now, milk, more and mama all sound the same (mo-mo). Banana and Nana are both 'nana'- so we need to do some interpretation.
