"my utmost for his highest" by oswald chambers is my absolute favorite.
you can read it online for free - http://utmost.org/

I haven't done Jesus Calling, but I've got a few that I love.
The Message devotional, which is a companion to the Message translation by Eugene Peterson is very cool. I also have the YouVersion Bible app on my phone, and they have a huge selection of free devotionals to use.
Joyce Meyer is great for quick morning devotions, but hers tend to be more 'story-like'. Not sure exactly what you prefer!

I love anything by Beth Moore. They're short-term, so not set up like My Utmost or Jesus Calling where you have one everyday for a year, but she is phenomenal.

Thanks for the suggestions !!!
@redsmarties: I'm going to download that app - would love to have something on my phone !
@photojane: love Beth Moore. I also really like Kelly minter (sp?) her study on Nehemiah was sooo good!

Morning and Evening or Valley of Vision are great for morning when the baby isn't napping but you need a quick devotional.
ETA: Sometimes I need truth specifically about mothering. Rachel Jankovic's "Loving the Little Years" is great. Not a substitute for scripture, but good encouragement.

I like "Faith to Faith" by Kenneth & Gloria Copeland.

Wow I love all these great recs!
I think that Jen Hatmaker has a devotional. ....I love her!
DH and I are doing the Love Dare right now, but I am sure that's not the sort of thing you're looking for. It's great for couples though!

@Rainbow Sprinkles: I love that song by Bethany Dillon! Makes me cry every time.
@coacheswife123: I have it on my iPhone! If you search "Bible" it's the first one. The picture is a little brown Bible. It says "LifeChurch.tv" under it, but it is the YouVersion one!

@photojane: @coacheswife123: I love that app! I read the Bible ten times more now than I ever did before, and I use their reading plans/devotionals a lot.

I second (or third or fourth?) the You Version Bible App. I like to read the Proverbs 31 Ministeries devotionals since they are specifically focused on women (there's often ones about being a Mom,etc). They're new Monday through Friday.

Halfway through You-Version's Reading Plan and loving it!

@Weagle: I'm usually more of a lurker but I just wanted to say how much I've loved Loving the Little Years too. Hoping her new book is just as good!
She's also been writing some daily devotionals with her family like this one: http://www.feminagirls.com/2013/02/22/february-22-proverbs-1918/#more-5198
(Not sure how long they'll keep it up, but I've really been enjoying them and gotten a lot to mull over.)
All the suggestions above sound great... I'll have to come back and look them up!
