So... My LO is napping on the floor and he woke up, stretched, pooped, and fell right back asleep! What do I do? The number one rule in the house is don't wake the baby... change the dirty baby is pretty high on the to do list. Do I wake him?

I've left Sienna sleep in her poop before. I have a feeling the "hotness" of the recent addition to her diaper puts her to sleep instantly. So I change her when she wakes up. Unless she's out for the night, then I change her. But naps, no way!

Oh @mrbee has a good quesiton. Sienna used to have diaper rash... but now, seeing her bum is okay I don't mind it letting it sit (once in a while)

@Mrs. Sunglasses: Ok. Yeah, I do change him if it's 4am and he just woke after 4 hours and I know he might sleep again for a while. Though lately he won't go back to sleep then either, so I think maybe I just will let him sleep now. He doesn't sleep enough.
PS He is 2 months (10 weeks)

I would definitely change her. But that is because her poops are absolutely huge and she has a blowout nearly every time.

@Mrsdaredevil: He has only had 2 blowouts and this one didn't sound too bad. I didn't move him to check though.

My LO can't sleep with a poo so I don't have that problem.

I don't and wouldn't wake him if I heard him poop....I do change him when he is awake, even if it's the middle of the night. Usually not a problem because he stools during or at the end of a feed....

I don't wake him up to change diapers, or else he won't go back to sleep and then I end up with a tired, cranky baby. I do put EMAB balm on with every diaper change though, so his little bum is always protected.
