So there's a shortage of the Pentacel vaccine at our pediatrician's office, and so my LO will have to get three injections instead of just two for his 6 month shots. One extra injection shouldn't be too big of a deal, right?

I don't know if it was the same vaccine but I do know at DS's 6 month check up they had a shortage of something and so he got an extra stick. It wasn't too bad, the nurse was very quick.

@sweetkate: It was probably that because it's for DS's 6 month vaccines as well! I just didn't want an extra stick to make him extra fussy or something! Bwahahaha. =P

My LO gets 3 sticks anyway (at her 2 and 4 month appts) and she was fine after the 4m ones. They're very quick!

@cranberryapple: ha I somehow missed that! I'm going to blame lack of sleep! He wasn't fussy at all after his 6 month shots though.
