DH and I have been using the pull out method for a few months now. The thread about not being happy with birth control options reminded me I wanted to start this thread.

We are prepared for what comes though.

We used it for the few months between going off the pill and TTC, but I was also charting so we were extra careful around my fertile times. Since it was such a small window of time, I'm not voting.
I do personally know at least two confirmed POM babies though. However, I do not know how careful they were really being. I'd personally only use it when we'd be OK if we messed up and got pregnant.

We are totally fine if I get pregnant.. just hoping to delay it a bit so we can get some personal goals out of the way (travel, etc)
Just trying to get a feel for how reliable it is, my friend works at the sexual health clinic and one of the nurses there said 20% effective, and one said 80% effective. And I read online it is 96% effective if used properly.
We are prepared for what comes though.
