Tell me if this was super-dumb...
I marinated 3 chicken breasts in Italian dressing in a ziploc bag in the fridge for a few hours. Then I just poured all the contents into the Le Crueset baking dish and put it in the oven at 400 degrees for like 45 mins...
After we scarfed it down, DH asked me if I did it that way, and when I told him yes, he said he doesn't know that I should have cooked the chicken in the marinade that I let it sit in...That I should have probably drained the excess Italian dressing before cooking it.
Did I screw up? I'm SUPER weird about eating bacteria and being preg - so scared I'm going to hurt the baby. The Le Creuset dish gets SO HOT, I"m hoping it would have killed anything bad - even in the juice/extra dressing....Did I do bad here?
I never even thought about that...You can tell how much I cook:)
