LO is almost 2 weeks old. We've been taking him out here and there- not on any long outings since we prefer being home for feedings and things. Every time a stranger sees him the first thing they ask is how old he is. When we tell them they get a weird look on their face and say things like how we're "so brave" to have him out already.
When we take him out strangers aren't holding him or touching his hands/feet. He's in his carrier the whole time and most of the time covered with a blanket. I feel confident that it's not negatively affecting his health but when people say things like that it makes me feel guilty!
Did you take your newborn out? How did it affect them? Did strangers judge you?
