I started out with smalls, but those smalls were from Pea In A Pod (and the tops were still too big). The smalls I tried from Motherhood Maternity were cut a little smaller than the Pea clothes, especially the pants/skirts.

I am currently wearing medium skirts, some small dresses and non-maternity dresses), and a mixture of small/medium sized tops.

I started in mediums and it was a BIG MISTAKE. Nothing sized medium fits me anymore. I am a pre-preggo medium but a preggo large (probably could handle some xl at this point but I REFUSE TO BUY MORE CLOTHES)!!! haha.

Yeah, I'm convinced the whole pre-pregnancy size thing is a lie. I haven't gained too much weight yet (28 weeks, 15 pounds) and I still went from a small to a medium.

I started as an XS, and most of my XS stuff still fits, except for my one pair of jeans (which also are somehow missing--or my DH hid them so I wouldn't feel bad not fitting them).
None of my shirts are long enough anymore--well 2 old navy tank tops almost are.
FWIW, I'm 39+ weeks, and gained 40 pounds...

I started out an XS and wear maternity XS from Old Navy and Motherhood Maternity. I did get a pair of Motherhood shorts in a small that fit fine, so maybe it varies by item because my jeans are XS and fit fine, too.

I was a 2-4 prepregnancy and bought all my maternity clothes in medium. I bought jeans in size 29 per the suggestion of the salesclerk at pea in the pod, but I def could have bought a size 28 instead. (was 26/27 prepregnancy for jeans).

I wore small before pregnancy and wore mostly small pregnancy clothes.

I was a size large pre-pregnancy and wore large sized maternity clothes throughout my entire pregnancy. I did buy 2 XL shirts towards the end but I could have done without them.

I bought all of my shirts in my regular size but my pants I actually went a size down. Though my shirts are almost too small but I figure 5 more weeks isn't worth buying more clothes lol.

I was on the cusp of L/XL when I first got pregnant so I bought XL in pants, size for shirts depended upon where they were bought. If they were bought at consignment/goodwill/thrift vs off the rack I usually buy XL if C/G/T and L if off the rack; although it also depends upon the brand. I was pretty much a solid XL when I got pregnant this time and have continued to buy XL pants (off season pregnancies so I get to buy an almost entire new wardrobe) but shirts are still L/XL depending upon where they are from.

I was in my pre-pregnancy size for DD (smalls or sometimes even xs depending on the item) but I am worried this time I may not be We will see! I think it's normal to go up a size though!
