Always last name and they do still here too. In early childhood they do Miss firstname, though.

School teachers were Mr. & Mrs....extracurriculars were generally Miss or Mister First Name.

My preschool and pre-k kids are told they can call their teachers by their first names - I have told them they need to say Miss or Mister first name, and they do it.

Always last name. Even M's preschool does this. My husband teaches high school and some of the teachers there let the kids use first names but he doesn't.

I always called teachers Mr./Mrs. Last name. I teach in a middle school and I am called Mrs. Last name. At my son's preschool, the teachers just go by their first names, and don't even use Miss! I don't love that. I always put a Miss in front of their names...

Growing up it was always title and last name.

Now in preschool my kids called their teachers miss first name. By elementary they started with mrs./ms./mr. Last name.

I teacher preschoolers through fifth grade. They are supposed to call me Mrs. Last name but sometimes they get confused and call me miss first name because the home room teachers call me by my first name. I have also been called miss science teacher, miss experiment lady, and miss science. I will answer to anything but then Say my name is Mrs. Last name.
