We have finalized on LO's name (first and middle). We're keeping it a surprise for the most part. I also told DH that if he doesn't "fit" the name we'll end up having to come up with something on the spot! LOL.
Did anyone change their minds about LO's name when you saw our baby for the first time?

We changed our sons middle name when was 2 weeks old!
The name we had chosen at 30 weeks stuck and we used that name

I didn't. We hadn't told anyone, but we were super committed to it. The strange thing is though, that in the first 24 hours or so every time I looked at LO I wanted to call him Julian, which is so absolutely bizarre to me because that name wasn't even on our list. I felt bad because we had already by that point announced his name (not Julian!) and I didn't want to do a name take-back. So I think next time around I will think about waiting to finalize the name. But then again, I'm too type-A to wait til after the birth! bah!

We are planning not to finalize until LO arrives anyway. I don't want to feel locked into something that in the moment just doesn't feel right.

i know someone who switched after LO was born. they had told everyone the name, we had visited the baby & everyone was calling the baby by that name & a few days later they switched the first & middle names!

We came up with LO's name before and told people. Her name is Rose and people gave us lots of personalized things, I did DIY personalized things for her nursery, and her room is full of roses. But this wasn't going to stop me from changing her name if it didn't fit her...... her name is for life, this is only stuff that can be changed.
One of the first things I thought when I saw her was, "Thank goodness she looks like a Rose!"

Nope. We love her name that we had picked out at 18 weeks and were so glad to finally put a face to her name.

That is normal, I worried over it too!
Nope, it still fit him perfectly at birth. We actually chose his name when we did a 3D/4D ultrasound at 30 weeks. We had a few really good pictures of his face, and we both felt that he looked just like a Cameron.

Yup! We had a short list of names and were 99.9% sure she would end up as either Vivienne or Maisy. Well, when we saw her she so, so clearly wasn't a "Vivienne" or a "Maisy" or the other names on our list! So she was nameless for about 2 days until we found her name; Eleanor.

We waited until he was born before settling on one of two options for his middle name, but his first name was set. I can't wait for you to share the names!

We have had her named picked out for awhile now, although I did have a dream about having an Everly Noelle, so that might have to be if we have a second girl because I'm loving it! We won't be switching on Monday, we both love the name we have picked out and know she will grow into it!

Nope, we had a girl name picked out and I'm so happy we were able to use it for her. As soon as they said it's a girl, I thought "I have my Evelyn!"

ack, i was wondering this myself. we picked out a name we liked a long time ago. JUST found out i'm having a girl (i'm only 14 weeks along) and are like...do we keep looking? do we tell people? ahhhhhh.
