DD starts daycare on March 13 when I go back to work (sob!) and we're planning on doing a few half day test runs in the next few weeks to get her used to it. Did you do test runs at daycare? How did it work?

We started her in daycare a week before I went back to work. It was hard but it made my transition back to work a little easier...plus we squeezed in a day date!

yup, the week before i went back to work, he did 2 hours, and then a 1/2 day and then a little more than 1/2 and then a full the friday before i went back. definitely needed it to help me prepare.

Nope. It took him some time to get used to it. Now, he's doing a lot better there than before.

yes we had a couple of half-days.

Nope, we just started full days. He didn't have any issues adjusting though.

We just went straight to full days. He's transitioned beautifully. Took me awhile.

Yes, She started on Monday and I went back to work Thursday, so we did a few half days that week. Of course, it meant she was already sick by her first full day...

Yep, a couple of half days before she started full time.

Yep, it took us about a month to transition DD. We did two half days, two full days, three full days, and then five full days. With DS, we did a couple hours, two half days, and then two full days ( he only ever went two days a week).
