Yeah. I sent my MOH over to his room with his, and he sent his BM over to me w/ mine. I gave him cologne, a watch and Gryffindor cufflinks, which he wore that day. He was supposed to wear aqua and grey argyle socks that day too, but he didn't see them in his gift bag!
He gave me a locket with pics of us inside and "Ikaw Lang" engraved on the back. I wore it that day too.

We exchanged cards...a friend acted as courier and delivered them to each of us
We'd agreed not to exchange gifts, and instead to spend more extravagantly on our HM. I did get DH a boudoir album though

yes and no...we said no gifts, but i decided a few weeks before the wedding to get him a pair of pink/black/gray argyle socks that matched our wedding colors that i happened to find. so i just let him know i found him something and it was under $10 so not a big deal if he didn't get me anything. he got me a packet of sunflower seeds that we were supposed to plant in our garden...we haven't yet. oops!

We each got iPods engraved for eachother. I got him a touch, he got me a nano. Mine says "You're my everything" his says "You're my only" which we say to eachother all the time
hostess / wonderful persimmon / 25556 posts
@anonysquire: my rings were handed down to me from my Grandmother (through my Dad) so I don't really consider them "mine." They're my family's. My earrings were *my* first diamonds.

Well, I left San Diego to move to Kansas for him - present enough!!!!

Sort of, but it was not ON our wedding day. I got a boudoir album made and gave it to him a couple of days before our wedding. He was totally surprised because it was pretty out of character for me and he loooooves it. Then he bought me a really pretty RHR while on our honeymoon in Hawaii. It has a plumeria flower on it with a diamond in the middle, which we loved because I kept putting plumerias behind my ear

In a way. I got this idea from another couple on a wedding site whose pastor made them complete the exercise for tgeir ceremony. Basically, use only 12 words to express how you feel about your partner. DH was on board with the idea from the beginning, but did nit want to share it in front if everyone at the ceremony. We exchanged our cards with our 12 words in private. I featured the 12 words in our wedding album and everyone who reads them gets emotional. To me that was a gift.

Yes. Hubby sent me my first bouquet of flowers since we've been together (4+ years, and the arrangement was GORGEOUS) and a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses that I used frequently during our honeymoon (I didn't own any sunglasses). I made him an album out of my boudoir pictures which really stunned him bc it's so not me and a nice Italian leather wallet.
