My 13.5 month old has been having a rough past 2 months. We have had non-stop teething, and an ear infection and sleep regression issues. We are finally starting to have nights of only 1 wake-up and him sleeping until 6:30 a.m., but naps have been crap. He has only given me 30-45 minutes twice a day this week, and one day he took 3 cat naps! Before this, he was on 2 naps a day (1.5-2 hrs each).

Today, we weren't able to be home for morning nap and he powered through until noon, and since then has been asleep and going on 2+ hours now...heaven. I am wondering if I should start forcing him into one nap and put him to bed early to see if it helps him sleep/nap better? Our pediatrician said around 14 months he might start going to 1 nap anyways, but I don't want to force something he isn't ready for yet.

If anyone forced the issue, I'm curious how it worked for you.
