Quicker than I expected to but I wouldn't say quicker than I wanted. We went into TTC with the assumption that it could happen on the first try so we didn't start TTC until we were prepared for that to happen.

My first, it wasn't quicker than I wanted, but maybe quicker than my husband expected. We got pregnant the first cycle after we got married. We have been trying for our second for nine months. So, much slower than I hoped, but my first IUI is this morning so fingers crossed we won't have to wait much longer!

I've been very fortunate to be able to get pregnant twice fairly quickly, but it still wasn't as quick as I wanted!

Slower....much slower. We started trying right after our wedding but didn't get pregnant until almost 3 years later after battling IF and using IVF to get pregnant.

Never was able to get pregnant, so much much slower lol!!

Hmm, slower but it didn't actually take that long (5 months). I was ready for kids about three years earlier and was waiting for my husband to be ready so in my highly irrational mind it took forever.

It only took 3 cycles. I was expecting it to take longer since DH travels but we got lucky I ovulated over the weekend/first thing Monday.

We started TTC with the view that it would take at least 6 months, so I was pretty surprised that it happened almost immediately. That's why we are waiting until we are 100% to try for #2 just incase.

@illumina: Us too! When we conceived within 2months my husband was shocked . We heard the doctor say it could happen immediately but didn't really think it would be that fast. We were fine with the timing though.

Quicker with my first, we moved our TTC up after my doctor said due to my very short cycles I may not be ovulating and we may have a hard time. So instead of summer lilike we planned to start trying, we started in January...and we got pregnant in January. It was a huge shock!

with DD2, it was our second month of trying, I've been very blessed with an easy TTC journey.

The first time around, it took just 1 month (no charting or paying attention to my cycle) and I was shocked it happened so quickly, since I thought it might take 6 months or so to get the timing right.

This time around, I was hoping it would just take 1 month again and I REALLY wanted a June baby. And I even used OPKs for the first time ever! And it didn't work after 2 months of OPKs....so the third month, I decided to take a break from OPKs and avoid my likely window because I didn't want to have morning sickness over Christmas--but of course, I must have ovulated super early and I got KUd anyway. So, longer than I thought that time. But still only 3 months total.

Way slower. I didn't think it would be fast due to PCOS but I didn't think it would take years.

LO1 was a surprise baby. (Using the pull out method and we had a few drunken accidents around the holidays ) and then with LO2 we were NTNP and we got pregnant the first cycle. I was pretty shocked. So so thankful though!

It was fast for LO 3. I had my pap and got the green light to start trying from my OB and pulled the goalie on my next cycle. I was happy because my OB told me (with my age) to expect it to take a lot longer.

@wrkbrk: seemed to go fine! Didn't really hurt, but I have some mild cramping now. DH's sample seemed fine. FX'ed!

@Cole: Exact same scenario for me!!

I expected it to take longer. We are very fortunate and got pregnant the first cycle we tried both times. I hope we have similar success in the future.

The first time, we thought it would take a while. Ended up getting BFP the first real time I tracked ovulation and timed sex accordingly.

This time, we had a CP cycle 2 of active trying and got BFP in cycle 4 of tracking O and timed sex, so a lil longer than expected from comparing our first round; but overall still very fortunate that we had relatively short times in conceiving!

Way sooner than expected. I was in the pill when I got pregnant both times. Never took antibiotics while taking the pills either. Now I'm on Nexplanon hoping it works for me.

Much quicker! #1 was one ooopsie night. #2 was the same only ended up being a chemical. Wish it had stuck but it really isn't the best time for us right now, so probably for the best.
