I did at Walgreens. The immunization administrator gave me a preservative - free one because I'm TTC.

@mrs.shinerbock: my workplace has them on-site too, but I am a remote employee. We can get the shots reimbursed, but lucky for me my husband's insurance plan, which I'm on covered it 100%.

I got mine at work and DH got his so he's protected by the time baby #2 gets here. Still working on DD's. Her pedi's office doesn't have them in yet.

Yup! I started working in healthcare a couple months ago so I definitely wanted one (though I usually get one). I'm not a nurse or doctor but I'm in and out of hospitals a lot. My arm seemed extra sore this year, boo!

Next week... my son and I will get them at school and they are actually going to sell us two for my husband and daughter at a discounted rate, that someone else can administer since they won't be here that day.

Yes. I picked up some prescriptions at Walgreens last week and they said there was no line if I wanted to get a shot really quickly too. My husband got his at work a couple weeks ago.

No, wasn't planning on it. I've never gotten a flu shot and never *knock on wood* gotten the flu.

It's mandated for me at work, so I got mine last week. I would get it even if it wasn't mandated, since I'm in healthcare (and on a respiratory floor, to boot). D got his yesterday at the ped.

For those who haven't had the flu - you might one of these days and you'll definitely want to get it in the future! It's also important to help protect babies, kids, pregnant ladies, and immune compromised people. Just because you don't have symptoms, doesn't mean you can't pass the virus to those with weaker immune systems.

I planned to at my physical at the beginning of the month and they were all out! My doctor told me I should hit up one of the walk-in clinics at a pharmacy, so I need to do that. DH got his yesterday, he's a grad student and they were doing free flu shots on campus. It's incredibly rare that he's more on top of health stuff than I am! I usually have to push him to get his.

Got mine at my last OB appointment, LO got hers yesterday and DH gets his next week.

I've never gotten the flu shot in my life (and have never had the flu). But now that I'm pregnant, I'm going to ask my OB his thoughts at my 8-week appointment.

I got mine 2 weeks ago, the rest of the family will get one next week.
As a nurse I feel I should give my 2 cents: Not having had the flu in the past does not mean you won't get it in the future. The flu kills many (otherwise healthy) people- and the thing a lot of those people have in common is not having had the flu shot. It CAN and DOES hospitalize young healthy individuals.
