yup, went all the time. i plan to start going this oct with my then 6.5 month olds!

I grew up in the Canadian arctic, in a tiiiiny, isolated town. Anyhow, I only say that because you know, I don't remember the public library! Only the school library, which I spent a TON of time in, and I have the feeling was (at that point) the only library there. But maybe I am wrong!
Now, though, I take my LOs to the library all the time! The programs are the best! And they have everything that you'd ever want for family entertainment! I love our library!

Yes, and always took out the most books I could, which I think was about 15. I LOVED and still love to read.

I went to the library all the time! My class would take weekly trips to the library. I would be very sad if library's dint exist in the future. Def plan on taking M to the library!

All the time. I adored the library. I read the entire (literally) kids section at our little local library by age eight, so I started on the adult section. I probably read a few books I was way too young for, now that I think of it...
In fact, I still have my first library card, with my four-year-old signature (including a backwards letter).

We went weekly. My first "job" was volunteering at the library when I was in middle school.

We had a very cool library truck come through our neighborhood on a regular basis. I loved that thing!

We went every friday with my mom when we were little and checked out our books for the week. I always loved it!
In high school we went there after school to do homework.

yes!! I loved going and remembered getting excited when my mom offered to take us. I was an avid reader so I couldn't wait to get more books from my favorite author/series.

During the summer, the library offered summer reading programs that involved crafts and a mystery dinner at the end of the summer if you read X amount of books to get "invited" to join.

We went to the library (actually one of several local libraries) regularly when I was little. We also went to the used book store a lot and less often to new book stores. My mom is an avid reader and so am I. I'm still pregnant, but I look forward to taking my little one to the library, book stores, etc.

We didn't have a bookstore in my hometown, so I spent A LOT of time at the school and county library. My mom used to take us at least weekly, and once I got into junior high and older, I started volunteering there. I still go to our local public library at least once a week with the kids; it's one of my favorite places in the whole town!
