DH just had his 10 year and it was a blast. We are close with a lot of his hometown friends.
We may or may not go to mine next year. I dont really want to and am not in touch with most people i went to school with.

I went to mine and I regret it. I was pregnant, so I couldn't drink, but it was early, so few people knew. I hung out with the friends I still keep in touch with and that's it. I didn't really talk to anyone else. It was expensive, too. Lame.

It hasn't happened yet. DH skipped his. He didn't enjoy his high school experience. He met all of his close friends in college.

Nope, they haven't been well organized either. I've missed out on the 5/10/20. I don't think there was even a 15 organized.

Nope. The HS I graduated from didn't evoke enough memories for me to want to go back and see people I barely knew.

Nope, didn't have a desire to. In a few years will be the 20 year & I shan't be attending that one either. Most of my friends were not from high school.

No. I thought about it, but it was across the country, I was still breastfeeding, and I don't have family there anymore. Logistically it just wouldn't have worked well. If it had been local-ish I definitely would have gone.

Nope. It was this July but I didn't go. From what I hear only about 10 people showed up so I'm glad I didn't waste my time.

Yes; my 10th was a few weeks before we got married. It was meh; but I didn't love high school and I already know what everyone is up to thanks to FB. My 15 year will be next summer, if they organize one. I'll go, probably.

My husband and I will definitely go to ours next year (we were from the same graduating class). Our school was small and pretty tight-knit so I think most people will try to go. I hope its fun!

My 10 year reunion is next weekend, but I am not going. I live 7 hours away, and work is crazy right now so I am skipping it. If I was local I would probably go.

I thought about it but none that I still keep in touch with were going.

The consensus from my graduating class (via facebook) was that no one was particularly interested in having a reunion, so we didn't. Even if we did, I probably wouldn't have attended. I still feel way too awkward, haha.

Yep... I enjoyed catching up with old friends. However, I made the mistake of offering to help. I ended up being dumped with a lot of the work. We made it as nice as we could, but we had funding issues, especially since so few people decided to come. I will never again volunteer to help!

Ugh, God no. High school is a time I want to forget forever.

Nope, I was 6 months pregnant and it was at a nightclub. No thank you! Plus, I have no desire to revisit HS

Nope...it was a byob bbq at a park in 100+ degree weather with a bouncy house. I know that sounds super quaint and country but my graduating class was nearly 700.

yep! i was 11 weeks pregnant and had my GF drinking my drinks for me. i had fun!

No, I probably would have but I was taking the bar exam the following week so it didn't seem like a great idea.

Nope! I think we've had a 5 and 10 already... Most of my close friends don't live locally anymore so I didn't see the point in going!

Yes! I was worried since none of my old high school friends were going, but it was really amazing how everyone reconnected - with spouses thrown in, it was kind of just a fun group outing with people who had similar experiences growing up. (Also, I helped one of my old classmate's husbands get a job at my company in a niche field - so they're apparently great for networking too!)

I went to my 20th. Facebook connected us, which is awesome, because we didn't have email back when we graduated.

Nope! I hated high school. We skipped DH's too, since tickets were $200.

Nope - I stay in touch with my HS friends on FB, but we live across the country, and I didn't need to see anyone else.

I went to three different high schools and the people I want to keep up with, l already do. So, no way!
