Omg me and DH were just talking about this today! We moved in March....still no housewarming and people ask us all the time. I don't mind that they ask, but honestly I'm always so shocked they even want to come. Our place is still bare bones and doesn't really feel like "home" yet. When is it too late to even have one?

We never had one. We moved in a week after our second was born. It never even crossed our minds that first year.

No. Our friends and family live far away. We don't entertain much because that's a big ask for people to hop on planes or drive far and rent a hotel.

I've been renting for a long time and have house fever, so when we finally move into a house, we're definitely having a party! It would motivate me to unpack and get things in order. I know we'll probably have to make changes slowly over time, so I might tape up pictures of what I hope our rooms will look like one day to help people see the vision!

We never did! Been in our house for 13 months and still haven't had the whole family over! Maybe for our LO's christening.

We always meant to have one but never did. Renovations got in the way, and I never felt that my home was "presentable" enough. Now it is but it's 4 years later..... Next home we hope not to have to do so many renos so we will have a party then!

I had one. I barely had furniture. I borrowed chairs from my parents.
