I didn't because when your name is as short as Bee, what nickname can you have!
We don't really have nicknames for Charlie or Olive yet either.
Did you have a nickname growing up? Do you have one for your LO?

When I was little my sisters called me yay-wee. Then they started calling me Yea (yay). Then chopsuey! chop! And then the nicknames stopped.
My mom used to call me her little kang-ah-ji. (dog in korean). It was a term of endearment.
Now mom calls my LO kang-ah-ji.
DH and I call her eggi and honeybee.

My Step Grandma always called me Katy Q, no idea why. A friend of the family NEVER called my by my name and called me Schmakers. To this day she does and she doesnt know why. She just said it one day and it stuck I guess. Other than that, Shorty and short stuff were the most common! When I was in the Navy they called me Penguin after I got injured : ( due to my injury I was a flyer who could no longer fly. So = had wings but couldnt fly! : (

My brother used to call me "toilet face" for the LONGEST time - even now, when he's feeling nostaligic, he'll say it. Isn't it so mean??? In elementary school people would ask me, "Where's Al?" in reference to the TV show "Married With Children" - (you can figure out my first name now).

@Rubies: my mom called me tushy face! But she wasn't trying to be mean like your brother ...it's a term of endearment for her.
People also called me carebear. I call my lo all sorts of things. Rosie posie the most though.

I didn't really have a nickname because mine was super short like @mrsbee. My Mom actually named my brother and me so no one would use nicknames! People always used to ask us if our names were short for Jillian or Andrew. Nope.
My best friend just makes it longer and calls me Jilly or Jillybean. I'm not really a fan of nicknames either, so I'm glad I have a short name.

@mrbee: Your guess is as good as mine. He said it one day like, "You're a toilet face" and it sort of stuck.

@mediagirl - good to see that you like having a short name! My husband is naming our daughter and he has picked a 'nickname' - we already always get asked if its short for Abigail.
I have the same name as my mom and as a kid everyone just called me lil ______. - Actually even as a 26 year old, my fam still refers to me the same way!

Yes, my brother and I both did. They are never to be uttered in public again and not even our spouses know them. Those names will go to our graves with us, consider them stored in Area 51.

My real name is Amanda and basically everyone in my family (except my Mom) calls me Mandy, but NO ONE outside of my family calls me that.
My Dad has always called me Midget or Midgie for short. It's amusing now since I'm the tallest of his three girls (by a few inches) and I'm actually the tallest female on either side of the family. Hell, I'm almost as tall as he is and he calls me Midget, lol. But, since I'm his youngest daughter, at one point I was actually the shortest!

Yes, I had a few, and still have some! Rosebud, Rosie, Muffy (I don't know how I got that one - from my sister!). I call my DS Pumpkin

@JustlikeHeaven: omg, glad to know I'm not alone. I'm also named after my mom and my fam still calls me "little _____" or just "little". I don't mind though, but it makes it a little weird when I have to explain it to people I've met as an adult. And like my sister's new hubby (they started dating three years ago). He feels weird calling me little ____ since I'm an adult, but he's also not used to my real name because no one in my fam calls me that.
