I had a tv in my room starting from junior year of high school as did my brother. Every room in our house had a tv -- living room, my room, brother's room, guest room, parents' room. More tvs than people!
Now we only have one tv in our room so Charlie and Olive don't really know what tv is... since they watch things on the computer/ipad anyway.

Nope. When I lived on my own I didn't have a TV in my room either. Not until I moved in with my husband did we put a TV in our room. I'd be fine without it, but I like it too...

Nope! TV was in the living room and my parents room so if we wanted to watch TV, we'd have to go to the living room. We eventually got a TV in the library as we got older and could play game systems (Nintendo Cube). I didn't get a TV in my room until after I moved out, and it was because my parents upgraded the living room tv so they put the extra TV in my room. Ha!

Nope! We have one in our bedroom, but I won't allow kids to have one unless they are teenagers and then I still don't know if I will. I am sure DH will vote for yes, since he has one growing up.

Yup, I got it for Christmas the year I started high school I think. Strangely I don't think I every really watched it, but it went to college with me.

Yes, I think I got it when I was 10, my Sister got one around the same age. I think it worked really well. We did a lot of things together, like all sat down to eat at the table each night so didn't feel like it impacted on family time.

Yep. I think starting in HS. We had a tv in every room practically. We only have one in the LR and hope to keep it that way.

Nope! We had one tv in the living room but it was only used for movies until I was in high school when we got real tv. Still just local channels, but the reception was so bad where we lived that we had to get them by satellite!

Yep! It was a tiny black and white TV, lol! I was 14-15 and I loved it, even though it wasn't hooked up to cable. I got a tiny color one when I was a junior or senior in high school, but I still never had cable.

Nope; we were not allowed (not even in high school, when we had our own money to buy a tv). I don't think I will let LO have a TV in her room either.
