I'm 14 weeks pregnant and on Tuesday I came down with either food poisoning or a stomach bug. It was bad -- I think I got sick about 20 times in eight hours, couldn't keep down water or anything. The on-call nurse at my OB's office told me to head to the hospital. I got an IV for hydration and also some zofran. I feel mostly better now, although still a little tired and achey. But of course I'm now worrying about the baby. They checked the heartbeat with the doppler and it sounded good, in the 140s. I feel like they just put so much fear into you about listeria, toxoplasmosis, etc., that it's hard not to worry. I don't think my temperature went above 99.5 and my doc didn't seem too concerned about it being listeria or something serious. But it's hard not to worry about every little thing!

TLDR: If you had a stomach bug or food poisoning during pregnancy and everything was fine, I could use some reassurance. The whole pregnancy process has only intensified my worrywart tendencies and made me feel like a crazy person
