did you let/invite other people besides SO to feel baby kicks/movement? I guess I'm mostly thinking of grandparents.
I'm right on the brink of starting to have movement that can be felt by others, and just realized I'd feel very odd having my MIL or FIL put their hands on me lol. but is it rude if I don't offer?? they aren't the type that would ever ask if I don't offer.

Just DS and DH. I don't like people touching me. No one asked, though. MIL tried it a lot when I was pregnant with S and I kept asking her to stop. She didn't try at all with this one.

I never offered but usually obliged if someone asked. I taught middle school when I was pregnant and my girls couldn't/wouldn't keep their hands off my belly. It didn't bother me for some reason. The only men that felt kicks were my dad and DH.

I only let my husband feel them kick. It hasn't been a problem except for a couple handsy people at work, but they never touch long enough to catch any kicks. I just pull away after a second. My mom asked if she could feel them and I flat out told her no. I don't know why but I just want this to be something DH and I experience. Everyone will get to experience holding the babies when they are on the outside - for now this is something just for us.

I really hated having my bump touched. I think the only person (besides DH, obviously) that I invited to feel the baby kick was my mom, because I knew she was dying to but would never ask since she knows how I am about my personal space.

DH, my family & my best friend felt DD kick (I think maybe my best friends husband rubbed on my belly once when he was drunk lol) but it's not really something my in laws would want to do even if I offered.

I let people who were interested feel- my parents, his parents. There was a lady at Starbucks who leaned over the counter, grabbed my belly with both hands, looked me in the eye and said that at least one of the babies was a boy. It was weird.

Only if the baby was REALLY kicking/punching...or if someone was super interested.
I had total strangers put their hands on me though, and I'm like...uh, the baby isn't moving right now.

I had two older women at work that couldn't have babies and always wanted to feel a baby kick, so whenever I saw them and there was movement they had their hands on my belly. Didn't bother me since I'm close to them. My boss and other coworker friends.and family. MIL did towards the end my family..I really thought it would bug the crap out of me but it never did. No random strangers though

Other than DH, my mom and mil were the main ones. I offered to mil with my second. I could tell it meant a lot to her because she mentioned it being the first baby kicks she has felt since she was pregnant and DD was grand baby #5. One of my close friends felt he kicks some too.

I offered to close friends and family often! It was incredibly weird that my FIL thought I was okay to touch my belly without asking.

Just my mom and a close friend. I had a few people grope me but I don't think they ever felt anything. I'm not one to be touched lol

Just my husband and my mom. LO is shy, even at 35 weeks. I swear she knows as soon as someone else's hand is on me and she sits still, so it usually takes a couple minutes to feel her even if she was kicking moments before for someone else to feel her.
I would let my dad if he had asked/seemed interested but last time I was home I was laying on the couch and he could see her jumping and that seemed good enough for him. I'd also prob let my MIL if she asked, but I haven't seen her since I've been pregnant and won't until LO is here. I'd not love it if FIL or step-MIL asked because that's a bit too comfortable for me haha.
Oh I did have one friend ask if she could feel my stomach. But not specifically to feel a kick. I said sure and she just gave it a pat haha.

I honestly can't count how many people have felt LO kick. We have a close knit church and family and I'm always getting a rub down. I love it. Our younger cousins always get excited when I call them to feel kicks.

DH used to feel her kick all the time. I think my mom and my sister felt a few, but other than that - I don't think anyone asked and I didn't offer.

I let everyone touch, co-workers, neighbors, friends... If they express interest in feelin a kick I'll call them over to catch one when it happens. Haven't had any strangers show interest, but if they did I think I'd still probably be okay with it (assuming they seem safe - I'm thinking grannies on the subway, not strange men in alleys).
But it's so totally your body and your baby and nobody should assume or expect anything!

just dh and maybe I'd let my close family, but I think I'd feel super weird having MIL touch my stomach and linger there waiting for kicks. she's also so incredibly skiddish around me bc of the bed rest and all issues we've been having that I think she'd be too afraid to even ask.. which works out best for me lol

Not at that point yet, but after DH feels baby first, I won't care who touches my tummy to feel kicks! My family, close friends, no big deal. I draw the line at random strangers.
