Did you just know you we're pregnant? With my first (mc), I did not. When I got pregnant with LO, I knew immediately. Like, right after DTD I knew we were in the baby business.

I had implantation cramping several days after O, and I *knew* then. But, the month before I also had a 'feeling' which was obviously wrong, so....
But really, when I had the cramping I was like 90% sure and I was right.

Nope. We had just decided to stop trying (after a stretch of unsuccessful attempts). I was just uber bloated and squishy, so I POAS . . . because I was on my way to a NYE party and I wanted to make sure it was okay for me to drink.
blogger / pomegranate / 3201 posts
No, not really. I did feel some implantation cramping that wasn't as intense as with my previous MC, but I was so used to thinking I was pregnant when I wasn't that I brushed it off until I got my BFP.
pomelo / 5331 posts
I'd tell you I did, but I also "just knew" the millions of other times it didn't happen before that
But seriously, I did have a feeling this time was different. We had timed everything perfectly, and I was having weird pains on my lefthand side and was beyond fatigued. So I was thrilled but not shocked when I got the BFP at 11 dpo.

I should add, I totally have the feeling that I am right now, but I think it's my hopefulness/terror of a BFP that makes me feel like that.
grapefruit / 4862 posts
Kind of? But I was not sure if this was just hopefulness in my head or what. But it was at the point where I took 2 tests way early just to see (and then the 3rd around 9DPO was positive.) I'd like to say "I KNEW!" but I kind of always symptom spotted monthly and in November felt the same way to a point.

I had sore breasts and implantation bleeding leading up to the BFP, didn't think anything of it. We had been trying for awhile, so I figured it was nothing at the time after a few months of BFNs.

@littlek: I really don't know :). I'm just going to give it a week before testing. I don't chart, so I have no clue where I am in my cycle.
honeydew / 7586 posts
Not at all! My SIL (who is a nurse) kept telling me I was pregnant and that I should test. I thought there was no way it would happen for us that soon (second cycle) but I gave in and tested just to shut her up. She was right!

I knew the 2nd time but not the 1st. I guess I just knew what to look for.

Nope, I was schocked when I started seeing faint lines on my wondfo's and thought for sure they were evap lines until I noticed they were getting darker then I got a clear line on a FRER. It was only our second try and I had assumed it would take about a year to get pregnant.

I did when I got pregnant the first 2 times (MCs) and with E. I had no clue with my current pregnancy! That could've had a lot to do with already being kept crazy busy by an adventurous baby though.

Kind of? I definitely felt different the month I got my BFP. My belly felt like popping popcorn the week prior to POAS.
GOLD / wonderful grape / 20289 posts
No. But I think I had to mentally prepare myself for a BFN so I wouldn't get upset if I got one, so I would convince myself I wasn't no matter what.

I knew...and not sure why. I just had a gut feeling!

I strongly suspected since I had a dot of spotting, I assumed was implantation. My boobs were fuller and bloated but I kept telling myself I was imagining it. So I put off testing till my period didn't show up when it should have.
blogger / pomelo / 5400 posts
Apparently so this time. I had very little reason to suspect, but a little voice in my head said, "POAS."
coconut / 8472 posts
I was really really hopeful and was pretty sure after I had implantation cramps. But I don't think I really "knew", plus I didn't want to have false hope. DH, on the other hand, told me while we were in the 2ww that this time felt different :).

@mrs. tictactoe: exactly what you said.
I suspected, but pushed thoughts out of my head after months of disappointmnet.
hostess / wonderful persimmon / 25556 posts
Nope. I didn't even think I was when my boobs hurt and I was gagging in the bathroom (with my friends giggling, saying I was, in our hotel room right next to me).
@weagle - do you have something to tell the class?
GOLD / cantaloupe / 6581 posts
I had a twinge of suspicion. I had zero symptoms, but one day we were sitting on the couch and a commercial with a baby came on and I went 'Hmmm.... it's not thaaat early to POAS...maybe...I'm gonna go POAS." and poof! there it was! squinter of a line! So I had a bit of a feeling, yes.
papaya / 10473 posts
Yep. I woke up with a weird feeling I just couldn't shake. And sure enough - BFP!
persimmon / 1396 posts
I knew when I was pregnant. My boobs hurt like crazy immediately. They were fine that morning and that night I couldn't touch them they were so sensitive.
I POAS that night and got a BFP at 8DPO.
honeydew / 7917 posts
I had no idea with my first, even though I had all the tell tale symptoms. I suspected I was pregnant with my MC & current pregnancy because my PVC was acting up. I had frequent chest pains due to the increased blood flow associated with pregnancy.
GOLD / wonderful pea / 17697 posts
No, I was positive I wasn't, actually. We had only managed to have sex once during that cycle window, two days before ovulation. I figured with over a year of hitting it right on the money several times and not getting anything that the chances were non-existent. I tested the morning I was expecting my period because my BBT shot up.
My mom claims to have known for a week before I tested, though. And DH suspected, because the smell of turkey made me nauseous (it wasn't cooked all the way through) and bacon frying made me throw up (okay, I should have picked up on that, I usually LOVE the smell of bacon).

We'd been trying for almost a year, but the month it happened I really did just know. I tried to push back that intuition, because I didn't want to let myself get excited but especially in retrospect, I felt different.
pear / 1812 posts
I did. This is going to sound super weird and I know it is just all in my head but still... right after we DTD I felt... different than I ever have before. I felt tingly in a weird way in my ovaries. I don't really know how to explain it. I am sure it was just coincidence but 4 weeks after that I got the BFP I knew I would see! With this LO I just KNEW. Mr. Hedgie thought I was crazy. He wasn't even convinced when he saw the stick because the line was so faint.
I didn't even have any symptoms until closer to 12 weeks when they hit hard and have been coming equally as fast and hard ever since.
GOLD / squash / 13464 posts
@Mrs Hedgehog: I just almost spit my water out at "tingly in my ovaries!"
pineapple / 12802 posts
Kinda? I had gotten a cheapie HPT and it was negative. but the feeling that it was wrong was so very strong. I waited a few days and the night before my xmas party I decided to take another test and sure enough it was positive.
eggplant / 11408 posts
The first one I was highly suspicious about 11 dpo. That one was a mc. With this one, I.was certain by 3 dpo. The same symptoms were there but MUCH stronger and earlier. Though, I was afraid to admit it for fear of being wrong!

I was like the chick from Species. I feel like I knew as soon as we got done getting busy. I just had this gut feeling.
