Just curious who had this as a sign of impending labor? 39w1d here and haven't seen any sign of it.

I did. About two days before I went into labor. I do know several people who said they never lost theirs though.

Yup I lost it at 39w3d and 4d. Went into labr at 39w5d!

Yes, I lost it Sunday night (39w2d) (in a Wegmans bathroom!), went into labor early Tuesday morning (39w4d) and delivered Wednesday afternoon (39w5d)

No ! I really wanted to go into actual labor. All I did was experience some mild contractions before my induction

I lost mine right as my contractions started.

Yep! I lost it in the morning (I was 40+4) and my water broke late that night.

I lost mine during labor. I went to the hospital with bad contractions. When they did a cervical check, the mucus plug popped in triage. At one point in triage, I thought that my water broke, but it was more of my mucus plug.

I lost mine about 12 hours after my labor contractions started.

Yep, pieces here and there a week or two before my water broke.

I started losing pieces of it last week and definitely after my membrane sweep. Grooosss

Interesting! Seems like there is a definite mix, so who knows what to expect... much like everything else in pregnancy. ugh.

i was in prodromal labor for weeks but my mucus plug started 'melting' when it started, then the rest came out the day before i went into full-on labor.

Yes, about 2 hours before my water broke, at 39.1. Hope it happens soon for you!

Yes at 32 w1d. The next morning I had my "bloody show" so went to the hospital and was in active labor.

yup..the day before I went into labor and delivered I started to, then the morning of, I lost...it. ew. was nasty!

I lost it after I started having some mild contractions. I got all excited and YELLED at my husband that I lost it.
