Talk on my birth month thread got me thinking. With my first two, I was VERY swollen for the last week or so, and pretty swollen for a couple of weeks before that. I also lost pieces of my mucus plug for about a week before my water broke with my first, and lost a huge chunk and had my bloody show a few days before I had my second.
I'm 35 weeks today, had my first two at 35+4 and 36+3, so I'm on the lookout for labor signs. I assumed it would go the same way for me again, but maybe not!
If you lost your plug one time, did you in all of your pregnancies?

No, I lost some of it with the bloody show the night before going into labor with my first, but nothing with my second.

In my first labor, I lost it at 5 cm with my bloody show. This time, I lost it on wednesday and labor still has not started. I'm 41 weeks.

@LAZB: I lost it with my daughter, during labor, about 10 minutes before my water broke. I was already 10cm.

I only have one delivery, but I lost it when my water broke at 5-6cm.

I've only had one but I lost my mucus plug in the middle of the night and went into labor the next morning.

I lost it in pieces with the first and all at once with the second.

With my first, I lost it when I went into labor. With the second, I began to lose pieces of it at 37 weeks but I didn't go into labor until 40+4.

I'm currently pregnant but with my first I didn't notice losing it at all!

Yes, both times. I also delivered both babies around the same time (38 w 6d & 38 w4d).

Um, I didn't notice? My SIL definitely did and couldn't believe me when I said I'm not sure when I lost it. Not something I'd want to look at anyway I guess

First time, yes, second time, I didn't notice, but my water broke first so it must have gone?

First time yes. Then later that day, my water broke randomly (no prior contractions)
Second time no.

I lost it both times but in the hospital when labor was well underway.

Update for my third: I lost it on a Thursday and had DS on Sunday
