This weekend as a huge wine festival in my town and we go every year. This year is the second time I can't drink and this is when I miss wine the most!! I just heard a radio show about a sparkling wine + fruit popsicle drink that sounds incredible!!

Only when we were out at social events. I didn't care that much at home.

I miss it! Once I get out of the first tri, I may partake in a half glass every now and then. But I miss refills!

Yes! I don't know how you do it at a wine festival. After awhile I got used to it, but when we're at social events or out to dinner, I look at a big glass of red longingly.

@LovelyPlum: I do indulge a sip or two here or there at home, but out at this festival I'd feel totally judged being KU in public drinking wine...... I'm so lame.

Yes! I'm going to my friends shortly and we usually have a couple glasses of wine.. none for me! I'm also going to Niagara on the Lake for our annual wine tour weekend in November.. I guess I will be DD

My strongest craving for my whole pregnancy was hoppy beer. It was terrible.

I don't really miss it, but I've had a couple of very small glasses after we were out of the first trimester. Last night, a guy at our pizza place gave me a tiny sample of some hard cider to try, and it made me excited for being able to drink more than a thimble's worth!

Didn't miss it cause I kept drinking it, in extreme moderation. I missed having it whenever I wanted but not did I look forward to my little glass per week

I drank in moderation after the first tri, but I missed drinking my nightly glass for sure!

I miss it. I have had a glass or two this pregnancy, but I always feel judged.

I don't miss wine, but I sure miss bourbon! Especially when we are at my parents and everyone else is enjoying their drinks on the dock and I've got my water.

Yes. Only a lite at home but when we went out to dinner or whatever I just got so bored with water or lemonade. I would have a sip or two of whatever Dh was drinking, and once I had a quarter of a glassof wine!
It's lovely being able to have a drink while breastfeeding!

I had a little wine every now and again during my first pregnancy, so I didn't really miss it. With this one, I've had one glass so far... I don't know. I was kind of meh, I could take this or leave this (and I LOVE wine) so with this baby I don't know how much I'll indulge.

After the first trimester nausea passed I really missed wine. I did have a glass on NYE and a glass to celebrate a work achievement. I think I missed sushi more, though.

Nope, and i am really big on wine. I'd just sniff my DH's glass and that's it. It wasn't really worth it for me to drink.

Gosh yes. We live less than an hour from Napa and Sonoma and its sad not to be able to enjoy it. But obviously it's worth it.

I don't remember missing wine that much, though I have a glass almost every night now. I remember really wanting to have a beer at a BBQ or a few other times during the summer.

I had a few cravings for wine but I didn't give in. My doctor told me if I'm overdue I could have a glass so I'm holding her to it

I did at the beginning of my pregnancy with E but I got over it pretty fast and I don't miss it at all this time!

I haven't missed it much, but sure could have used a glass after taking DS to the ER this week. We are also going to France next week and I will probably really miss it then

YES. More so in the last trimester. I would really want to relax and enjoy a glass with dinner. First two trimesters, I was still nervous about everything. Surprisingly though, I didn't really crave any wine AFTER K was born for a few months.

I miss wine if I'm away from it for more than 24 or so hours. We're pretty tight, red and I.
I had a half glass here and there so I didn't totally miss her while I was pregnant!

@yoursilverlining: lol
I did. But now I don't have time for it! At night after everyone is in bed and the cleaning is done, I just want to lounge in my bed. Wine seems like work to me. Haha.

@yoursilverlining: I hear ya! Now it's margaritas that I really miss. While beer and wine and I still hang out briefly from time to time, I had to break up with tequila. My last margarita was a darn good one though, so I keep her memory close to my heart

No,mbut we went to Mexican food last night and I wanted a margarita soooo bad!

When I was pregnant with DD, I really had a hard time not drinking. But for some reason, I don't really miss it this pregnancy (probably because everything makes me feel sick). I kind of hope it keeps up so I don't miss it too much over the holidays (again).
@yoursilverlining: HAHA!

Oh i totally missed wine. Constantly. I've more than made up for it since having her. ha.
