I like the idea of it but hate that it's permanently attached to a soothie pacifier. I wish I could replace the pacifier with something my LO prefers (gumdrop pacifier). Plus, I have to wash the whole thing if I want it cleaned. I just stick it in the wash.

@bluestriped bee: my LO hates all pacifiers but she tolerates Natursutten the best. We actually have this little bunny lovey that has a Velcro hand you can wrap around a pacifier handle so it's like a DIY wunanub. I'm sure you could find a way to attach other kinds of pacifiers with a ribbon or something.

LO #2 is meh about them. he seems to like the ones we got from the hospital, which curve to his face as opposed to being flat. LO #1 took to them better (so we have 3), and i liked them because they were easier to keep track of. i did not find they were good for staying in the baby's mouths better, though. that's what servants (aka mom and dad) are for.

My older son loved it starting at around 6 months. He would stroke the stuffed animal part and rub it on his face. I liked that they were easy to find.

I found a wubbanub like product that I bought off of kidsteals almost 2 years ago that had a detachable ring so you could use any pacifier you wanted with it. I bought it for my friends and completely forgot what it was called. But something does exist!!!
DS1 didn't take to his wubbanub until after we weaned him from bottles at 12 months. Then he had them while sleeping and in the car. My niece is obsessed with hers though.

my oldest loved! she still has them actually, sans pacifier part.
my little one did love the giraffe until she was a few months old then she took to her thumb instead.

Yes, she does love her Wubba Nub paci, despite not liking the other (Nuk, MAM?) pacis we tried. I just bought a leash that I'm going to try & attach to the leg so that she's less likely to drop it. I have seen the loveys that can attach to your own paci, that'd definitely be a good way to go.

H loves hers! For daytime paci weaning, I took the paci off and sewed the mouth back together. When I wash them, I sterilize the nipple in boiling water and handwash the body in the sink.

My first didn't take a pacifier but my second loves them. I only give them to get in her for bed or naps. She'll sneak into her room and strain to pull them out of her crib.

Yes, it was the only way he could keep a paci in at the beginning. But he have up on all pacifiers by 7 or 8 months, so we didn't use them too much anyway. I thought it was annoying too that they were permanently attached!

Yep DD1 used it until 6 months and DD2 is sucking away on hers as we speak. I like them because I feel like they are easier to wean from

Thanks guys! I found an etsy seller that can make them with the pacifier my babies prefer. I'm going to talk to the seller and see if there's a way for the pacifier to be removed. The Esty seller adds a rattle to the beanie baby, too! Plus, one of the ones she sells is a cocker spaniel!

My 1 year old sleeps with 2 wubs and loves them. We only keep them in the crib. They gave him a soothie paci at the hospital when he was born, so he took the the wubbanub right away.
