Not usually, but that is mostly because I didn't see most of them until Christmas and didn't know where they were hidden. I accidentally found a bunch one year though. I was so excited!

Haha I was an expert at peeking! Now I love to have the surprise so I make sure DH hides things really well.

Always. I would even play with some of the toys. I remember this Cabbage Patch kid whose hair would grow if you pulled it. I played with that hair a lot.

We would always hold, shake and guess what we were getting but never actually peaked. Mom started hiding the "good" gifts inside clothing boxes (:
