I've had quite a few friends do this (including one that had a baby last night). It will either be something simple like saying we're heading to the hospital, posting how many centimeters your dilated, etc. And some people will even post pictures during the process. I have one friend that had a water birth and she had a picture up of her smiling in the tub!

I didn't do any updates, I didn't want anybody to know where were at the hospital but family. I was just so paranoid that something bad would happen and I didn't want people bothering me and asking questions if it did, so I said not to tell anybody else until LO was here and healthy.

But I do love seeing other people's updates
