I didn't. Just put the start time.
I think for DD's 1st we wrote start and end times.

I don't think I've ever seen an end time on invites I received! I usually assume it's 3 hours.

We did because we did it as a drop-in party around the holidays...it worked out really well.

We didn't, but people left once the food, cake, and presents were over. Many commented that they didn't want to stay too long in case LO was missing her afternoon nap.

DS isn't 1 yet, but when he is, end times don't really matter anyhow. From previous experience, people will stay as long as you let them!

For family and close friend bday parties? Never
For school friend parties - YES!! 2 hours

I did because for some reason the shutterfly invitation required it. I just stuck two hours in there but people stayed for more like 3 or 4 hours which was fine with us.

Yes. We did 2-4pm for her first birthday party a couple of weeks ago. People still lingered around until almost 5 which was fine and I kind of expected it. I think it's nice to have an end time though.

No. I feel like parties never end when they say they will unless it's at a rental place that you actually have to leave, and I didn't mind if people stayed a little longer.

I just got A's invites and we did not.
It's not at a home but either way we didn't put an end time.

We will b/c my extended family has a tendency to show up late and stay a super long time, which is not ideal for LO.

I do. I kind of like knowing how big a deal this party is supposed to be. For instance, if a party is from 6-8 I assume it's just dinner and there isn't going to be any "after party" stuff like shots and such. If it says 6-12 though, then I know it's going to be that kind of party.

Yep and I have no idea why cause I don't care how long people stay and my family will!

Yes . . . but it was more so that people would know that it was okay to leave/ not stay the whole time.
