No, I've never been too interested in birth stories!

i totally did! weirdly enough, I don't seek them out now that I've had a LO though. I read them on hb but i'm not as big on them as I was before. kinda strange.

Tons, and they were extremely helpful in getting me through my difficult birth. My daughter needed resuscitation after a bad delivery, and I knew that this was very common. That helped me to not freak out and really reassured me that it was a temporary thing that she'd overcome.
I'd recommend it to anyone.

Totally. Love them. It's made me realize that I should be open-minded when that time comes.

They were my crack.
Although, I don't seek them out like before or when I was pregnant. Living through it gives you a better perspective! I do enjoy reading the Bee's stories, though. I've debated about posting mine. Primarily because I'm a bit too verbose (I'm terrible at self-edit) and because, while long, my labor went relatively smoothly. Or maybe that's the amnesia talking...

I did before and while pregnant, but since having a kid I hardly read them anymore.

Not before, not during, not after. I barely think about my own story much less anyone elses! I see the process as a means to an end though and didn't invest much expectation/emotion in it which maybe is a little sad in some ways

All the time! I loved seeing different women's experiences and I'd always tear up when they delivered their new baby.

Before no, while pregnant no, but now that I have my own, I can't get through many of others birth stories without crying. Love reading them.

I did. I did a lot of reading about birth in general before I was pregnant. I felt like I wanted to know where I stood on the topic of natural vs medicated before I got pregnant so I could choose my provider based on my chosen path. I'm a planner.

Yes, I used to binge read them! Now I can't stomach them at all. I guess the reality that I'm really going to have to go through that is just too much.

I read them obsessively while TTC - partially in hopes that the more graphic stories would dull my baby fever.
Instead, they just fueled it more.

I've read birth stories since I was 12, before I even knew where babies came from (lol, never did get that talk...). I'd say I'm a bona fide birth junkie.
