I was there Monday-Thursday, and I definitely showered! It felt sooo nice. I think they had me wait a day or two after my c-section, but I can't remember for sure. It's all a blur!

I did, but only because everyone told me I should. I really would have rather waiting until getting home, it wasn't worth it.

yup. I was so excited to shower. I delivered at 9:30 at night, and begged for a shower first thing in the morning. It was tough and painful but I felt sooo much better!

Nope. Didn't want to shower there at all for the two days I was there. I can't remember when I showered after the baby came home.

I did! I took my first shower after doing skin to skin/first breastfeed - was super refreshing after writhing in pain for hours. Then in 4 days I stayed in hospital I think I showered another 2-3 times.

I was there 2 nights and showered twice. That first shower was so glorious but wasn't until the second day! I had DS in the morning so I'd gone all day and night after being in labor and giving birth without showering... I have no idea how because that is so not me but omg did it feel amazing to be clean again and not in a hospital gown.

YES! I had him at 8pm and showered by 2am-ish? by the time he went to sleep and they removed my IVs.
Then I slept until about 9am, and showered again, this time actual washing my hair and shaving.
The following morning was discharge morning and I showered while LO was sent down for circumcision.
So, 3 showers and they were heavenly.

For sure. It's the first thing that made me feel human again. They were born at 10am via c-section, and I showered the next morning around 8am.
Then I got to put on their fancy hospital undies and maxi pads.

Uh, no. I delivered at 11:45pm on Thursday. Didn't shower till....Sunday?? Maybe? Gross. Whatevs.

This is going to sound so gross but I only showered once during my stay. I checked in on Friday, had my baby on Sunday morning, and showered/was discharged on Thursday. So gross but that shower was fantastic! I felt like a new woman.

I showered every day, once during induction (at about 10 pm), then my emergency c-section was at midnight and the next morning I was up and showered (plus hair blow dried and make-up done) by noon. I showered every day first thing in the morning, I always felt much better afterwards.

I was in the hospital from Saturday to Monday and showered once on Sunday. I was exhausted and didn't want to but the nurse I had insisted I take one. I'm so glad she did. I felt so much better afterward.

I showered the day after she was born before my friends came to see her.
