Did you sign your little one up for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library? Is it offered where you live? Both my son and daughter are signed up for it. I can't wait to see the ones for next month!

@artbee: I'm so glad you mentioned that! I think I went to sign up after LO was born, but in my area it's for ages 6 months and up, and then I forgot about it, so I just went back and signed up again

We got them in NYC for both girls so we have a lot of books from them! It's not offered where we live now, but we do get free PJ Library books. DD goes to a Jewish school, so that's how we learned about it.

@Lozza: The books are great, and some months they do CD's. FYI for future children, you can sign them up early but they just won't send the books until they turn 6 months.

I tried but it's not offered in our area.

I keep trying but they keep telling me I can only do it online and when I do it says it isn't offered in my area... but it is offered at the church across the street from me. Huh? I e-mailed the area director and she said she would get back to me on how I needed to do this to get signed up since obviously it IS offered in my area, in MULTIPLE locations.... 3 months later, still no word.
I will try again in a few months. LO isn't even due until the end of August. I was just hoping to get a small library started a couple months early. Oh well!
