yes same I had them for formals! would mess up my nails for months. my mom got hers done for a long time in the 90s when it was a thing.

I got them for proms and graduation in high school. Not my style anymore, but my mom and her Texas friends are still crazy about them!

My nails look so bad now but I think it's due to washing my hands and using hand sanitizer 100 times a day. Sooooo dry!

I totally did the pink/white acrylics. I think they look nice when they are done right and kept somewhat short. If they weren't so hard on my nails and didn't require 1 hour appointments every 3 weeks for the upkeep, i would still get them done. My real nails look so shitty, so acrylics were a huge step up for me! I'm really trying to take better care of my real nails, though. So jealous of women with nice, natural nails!
