I didn't have to with my first pregnancy, but with this one, OMG, I'm going to have to get more!

I didn't, but at the end I was always really annoyed by my underwear and probably should've gotten some!

@Mamasig: I did not know they had them at Target! Getting some tomorrow! My regular ones are way too tight on my big ole behind!

@matador84: I had to order them online because they didn't have any at my Target, but that was about 2 years ago. The brand was Gillian o'malley.

Nope. I lived in hanky Panky thongs. Super stretchy, soft, and comfy!

Bought one size up instead and opted for more comfortable/stretchy waistbands.

Not while I was pregnant. Bought some for the postpartum period to accommodate the flying saucer pads; wore 'em for a few weeks.

@matador84: I LOVE my fold down briefs from Motherhood *confession, I never fold them down - so sexy, I'm sure* But @yoursilverlining: is right, too. I usually hate thongs, but right now I alternate between my awesomely huge maternity panties and the slinky lace thongs from VS - the stretch is never ending!

I got gin-NORMOUS fruit of the looms. I couldn't stand for anything to sit below my belly, so I had to settle for huge undies. DH has offered to burn them, heh.

They were my first maternity buy at 5 weeks when my butt blew up. I didn't need maternity pants or get a hint of a belly until 22 weeks.

Nope. I wore the Incredible line panties from VS the whole time. SO comfy.
cantaloupe / 6669 posts
Yes & 2 months postpartum I am still wearing them! So comfortable.

@matador84: How come you need them this time? Just curious to know what changed in case it happens to me too. I wore my regular undies throughout pregnancy.

@Kimberlybee: my panties are just cutting off circulation around my legs! I don't know what it is about maternity panties, but they have more give or something! Two kids in less than two years us probably why!

Kind of. I normally wear VS boy shorts because they have so much coverage normally but they awkwardly roll down on my belly and were just getting too small. I went and bought some plain old cheap bikini style from walmart two sizes larger. Much more comfortable! But ugly.

nope. i have to ditch my old undies though because they got so stretched out! DH got me new pairs for christmas... my daughter is 11 months old.

I was always a thongs only girl, but a few weeks ago MIL got me 2 packs from Motherhood Maternity and oooohh so comfortable! Im not sure what changed down there but the thongs were just starting to annoy me and these make all the difference

In neither pregnancy did I wear these and honestly never understood them at all. Maybe I was missing out...?

@Danizaur: Dare I say...butt ugly? Har har
@mamimami: I don't know what it is, but no place anywhere on the maternity fold over pinches or binds or feels too tight. Magic panties for my ever-growing Kardashian.

I was a thong girl prior to having baby but I have to admit that the massive undies I bought to wear post partum are amazingly comfortable!!

@matador84: ok that makes sense. I was more top heavy with my pregnancy so I didn't need maternity underwear while pregnant but I really needed granny undies after my C-section. So glad I am able to wear my regular undies again.

Nope. I wore my usual Hanky Panky thongs for the first 6-7 months and then I bought a size up in my favorite brief-style underwear when I started having some discomfort down below.

I just bought a larger size of my VS undies.
@yoursilverlining: @autumnlove: @PinkElephant: I cannot believe you ladies wore thongs throughout you pregnancies! Props to you!

Nope! TMI, but if I'm wearing yoga pants or leggings I just don't wear any (did this prior to pg) and if I'm wearing jeans or have to wear undies, I just do my regular cotton lace VS thongs. I'll have to get some grannies for post partum, though...
