I am a work from home or remote employee. Once a week I am hpme all day. The ability to schedule services and meet with vendors is great. Sometimes I will throw a load of laundry in the wash. Eventhough I try to knock out spme work before my day really starts I rarely bathe until 5:30pm. I don't have coworker friends, but I have made friends with some of my clients. My hanging out/ social outlet are the people I have met outside of work.

I work remotely full-time, but didn't start the job until after I had a baby. I agree with @Minnie_Girl that it's important to keep a schedule. I start work the same time every day, make sure to shower, get dressed in something other than yoga pants (this rule was temporarily lifted when I was in my third trimester), and not watch tv. It can be a bit isolating, so I had to make more of an effort to make friends through avenues other than work.

Overall, I love the flexibility that working from home gives me, even though there are the trade-offs of missing out on things in the office, occasionally not talking to anyone during the day, etc.
