@Andrea: this was my last trip before the long one where I would be on my feet all day. I'm not going to go on that one when I would have been 7 weeks out from my due date! I'm so glad to be done traveling!
Ankles and feet are still pretty swollen this morning. They should be better by tomorrow. Usually takes 24 hours or so for them to chill out.

I had kankles so bad I never wore skirts! Haha. I was on my feet a lot. Dh was nice and rubbed them after I was finally able to fight my shoes off.

LOL thats how mine look at the end of every day, and I still have 7 weeks to go. I make sure to keep them hidden so everyone doesn't comment about my massive kankles

Mine do, especially the left for some reason! I did find that the amount of salt in my diet makes a huge difference but other than that, the doc told me there's not much I can do.

Mine were awful. It was summer in Florida, so it was bad. One day all of a sudden my shoes didn't fit anymore. It helped to keep my feet up, but the second they were down my ankles puffed up.

My feet were swollen my entire pregnancy; near the end I was calling then 'thankles" because I was convinced they were as big as my thighs. I elevated as much as I could and gatorade seemed to help. My legs and feet would sting when I walked.

I was fine until week 33 and 34 when I had to travel by plane, I had a total of four flights in 3 days and when I got back home i realized my feet and ankles were supersized. My OB's office adviced me to drink PLENTY of water and cut back on sodium and within a couple of days the swelling subsided a bit. My ankles are still puffy now but nothing like they were that day

Mine now look like that all day. I think the swelling started around 34 weeks, and it's progressively getting worse. They hurt sooooo bad. I would have never guessed that swelling could cause so much pain. I just have to keep telling myself (now at 37 weeks), that it's almost over and they will go back to normal.

My feet have been swollen since 34 weeks. They are only slightly swollen in the morning, but by the end of the day it's bad. And I have an office job! I can't even imagine how bad they'd look if I was on my feet all day.

oh girl, those were my ankles every day from 7ish months on. it got to the point where I didn't have knees either - it was basically just a straight line from my thigh down to the floor. if it makes you feel better, though, I lost 40lbs in my first 10 days pp- pretty much all water weight. it was so nice to have my legs back.

Seriously! The potassium attracts & helps absorb the extra fluid! Upping my water didn't do squat, but if I eat a couple of bananas a day I generally don't have to worry about any real swelling.. not to the point that they hurt anyways. =)

Oh my gosh! Those look painful! Mine swell a tiny bit everyday, unless I'm working. After a 12 hour shift, they are pretty puffy and uncomfortable. I thought I was going to luck out and not have any swelling, but them it hit me suddenly at aroun 35-36 weeks.
@runsyellowlites: I didn't know that about bananas. I usually have a banana everyday for breakfast so I wonder if that's why my swelling has been pretty minimal.
