For #1, yes. They threw me a wedding shower and then 18 months later, a baby shower. I didn't really like my coworkers all that much but they did put together two very sweet parties.
I'm currently pregnant with #2 and work for a much bigger organization. I think my team may put something small together but no one has mentioned it at all. There are only 4 of us and I'm the lead so we will see if they do. Either way is fine obviously.

Yes! It's kind of standard practice for my team to turn one of our weekly meetings into a small shower. It's nothing over-the-top--yummy food, a sweet gift from the group, and usually some sort of really fun activity like notes for the baby or things to read in the middle of the night when changing diapers. (We're writers, we can't help ourselves. Ha!)
Even though I know that, I was still surprised when mine came around. Haha! I think they do it for every baby, too--they did one for someone's second kiddo soon after I started.

No, and hopefully they won't! It's not usually done, but one girl in my department was due two months before me and got put on bed rest at 36 weeks. We put together a gift/care package for her, which was really nice but got kind of awkward at some point... I feel like people were being pressured to contribute. I didn't want anyone feeling like they have to do the same for me, especially since I'm a sort of manager, so I went to the organizer and told them getting presents gives me anxiety Hopefully that put an end to the awkwardness.
But my boss usually sends a present afterwards

No shower (not done in that particular area), but they organized a gift. I was really touched, as I was new to the group when I was married and when my son was born.

Yep! We went to lunch and they gave me some cute outfits and cash. Then after baby was born, they took me and baby to lunch while I was on leave and gave me another gift. FWIW, my boss always pays for everything for those types of things. A few of my clients also sent flowers and gifts, which was really sweet. There seems to be a baby or wedding shower every week at my new job, too which is nice.
