I was on bed rest, so technically yes, but in terms of figuring out what to pack, I did it on my own. I made a comprehensive list and he put it in the suitcase. We did the baby's bag together but that was mainly because I wanted it to be a joint effort for sentimental reasons.. picking out his going home outfit together, etc.

Haha, no! I didn't trust him to know what I needed!
But I did give him a list of phone numbers (ob, hospital, delivery ward, etc.) in case of emergency.

No. I'm also insane/was excited out of mind & except for daily use stuff, we were packed by 30 weeks lol

No!! But he fetched me loads of bits during the week i was in hospital so he may as well have.

Nope, but I had him in charge of organizing what he needed - snacks, spare clothes etc

Yup, he's the packer in the family. I get everything together and he packs it in the bag.

Ha, no. He's not the packer in this relationship. He had no idea what was in each bag so he brought me the baby clothes/postpartum bag instead of the labor bag when we got to the hospital. Good thing I wasn't too excited about anything in my bag.

nope! perhaps on the day we were going to the hospital, I asked him to help by telling what we still needed to pack, but I did the organizing and packing basically.

No, good lord--I wouldn't want him too! I'd have ended up with weird stuff like a Nintendo Ds, action movies, and chocolate bars with nothing else.

Yes, he packed it because I was unexpectedly induced after a bpp/nst at 37 weeks, I hadn't packed yet!

A little! He packed a bag for himself (he plans to stay the night) and reminded me of things to pack for myself.

@Anagram: Ha! My thoughts exactly. We would have ended up with crunchy bar snacks. And maaaaybe the car seat.

Nope! Not only did he not help me, but after we got to the hospital, he was all "Why didn't you pack ME ____?" Grrr... pack your own crap while I'm in labor!

No and last time I packed his bag too. He's a horrible packer.

Nope and I packed his stuff. I only packed enough for 2 days bc I just assumed I would have a vaginal birth - we were there for 4 days bc I ended up with a csection and both LO and I had infections and needed IVs for 4 days. Ok for me bc I mostly stayed in a hospital gown - not so great for DH but we had family around that offered to grab him more clothes. So learn a lesson from me and pack enough for at least 4 days!

No. I packed while in labor and he was busy getting himself ready. It was a little hectic.

No, I packed for myself, but we live 8 minutes from the hospital and have pets, so he didn't need to pack since he would be back and forth as it was. He didn't stay over with #2, so he could help the grandparents with #1 and keep life somewhat normal for him.

No and I packed stuff for him too. I'm the packer whenever we go on trips etc.

Yes, I was in labor when he packed it... major procrastination! I was doubled over on our bed having contractions so he was pretty much completely in charge of the bag.

Yes. I had thrown together some of the necessities but really didn't have a bag completely packed when I went into labor! This caused all sorts of problems! He and my bro in law went back and forth to our house to get the boppy, pajamas, birth class materials.

No. My water broke 4 weeks before my due date, my bag wasn't packed yet, so I ran around my room leaking all over the place. Dh was busy packing his own bag and calling grandparents to come babysit lo.
