Curious to know - were anyone's kids really thrilled with the fingerling monkeys they got for or around the holidays? I had two for my girls, but they never got opened at Christmas. None of their friends seem that excited about them/no one is talking about them, so I'm considering just unwrapping them and returning them!
So what's the verdict? Yay or Nay on Fingerlings?

Lo got the sloth and was legit OBSESSED with it for about a week. It went everywhere with her. She hasn’t touched it or sought it out since, which is good as all the sounds were honestly annoying AF

My girls (3 and 5) were obsessed with them for a week or two. My 3 year old’s interest has waned, but the older still loves hers and asked to get one for her classmate’s birthday this weekend.

Our kids got them. They are almost 4 and 1.5 and aren't into them.

@PinkElephant: Same as the others - my tso year old got one for our thanksgiving trip. He was obsessed the entire trip but now could take or leave it. But for $15 eh. I think it’s super cute for what that’s worth! Haha.

They have these Little Live Pets birds that they love on and off....maybe I'll hold onto them and stick them in their Easter baskets It seems like if you can figure out how to make them "do" certain things, the monkeys are kind of fun; otherwise, they're random and annoying, haha.

@wrkbrk: I think so. The highlight of the birds is that you can record a message, and it randomly will repeat back what you said. That's kind of fun. They like leaving messages for each other (sometimes nice, sometimes not, haha....). Supposedly with the birds, the more you hold/pet it, the more of it's sounds it will add to it's repertoire. They're only $10; of course my kids wanted the cage version which were similarly priced to the Fingerlings.
