Our first got teeth one at a time, spaced out over his first year, but he started earlier( 5 months). This LO got his first tooth at 6 months but they have been coming rapid fire since then. At 8 months he's working on #5 and #6 already!

DS1 was late to get teeth (9.5 months) and they came one at a time. We'll see about DS2.

Lo didn't get her first tooth until around her first birthday, and then they all grew in pretty much together after that

She cut her first two back to back. She went from no teeth to her bottom two in a week. Then she had a month long break before cutting her top 4 at once! It took a month for all four of them to completely come in. That was over a month ago and she hasn't cut any more since.

Ds1 was spaced out.
Ds2 got them one after the other from 6m on. At 13 months he has them all, except his 2 year molars. It's been....interesting.

Both my LO's are late teethers and have gotten them mostly one or two at a time for the first half. With LO1, he got the second half all within a couple months when he was 2.5. LO2 is right now working on 3 new ones after not getting any for ages and I'm guessing will follow a similar pattern as LO1. He is almost 2.5.

While LO1 got them one after the other (starting at 4.5m) but he was done by 11m except for the 2 year molars which he was done with at ~20m.
At 20m LO2 finally cut her last canine. No molars to be seen yet so it was/is a very drawn out process for her (she started at 6m).

Lo's 1st 3 front teeth all came in at once, the 4th one shortly after. Similar with her 1st molars. She's 15mos & has 12 teeth.

@Pumuckl: I'm thinking getting them all at once might be better....

The first two were spaced out, after that they've been coming in herds. Whiney, tantrum-y, wake up at 3am herds of teeth.

My first got one tooth per month from four months to a year. It sucked.
DD2 got them in pairs.
DD3 is eight months and got her bottom two in two months ago and is working on her top two now.

@oliviaoblivia: that's how my first was too. Every month and it felt like he was ALWAYS teething. I mean this one is always teething too but at least he's got a ton of teeth to show for it!

Ds got his all fast. At 7 months he had 1 tooth and by 8 months he had 7!!!
Since then they have pretty much come in pairs, except tooth number 8 which was quite a bit later the tooth 7, haha. Working on his last two molars now.
Also interesting, for every tooth the left has come in before the right.
