My Lo used to slap us in the face a lot! Now that we started time outs, no more slapping us!
We haven't figured out how to get her to stop hitting her friends outside of the house though..
Had a play date the other day and she slapped my friend's son in the face a few times!

Actually, she was swatting back when we were in ca too..
Just happy she's not slapping us anymore. But Makes me nervous when we're out playing with others..

@Rubies: ha! Gave up after like 3 hours when we tried a couple weeks ago! She didn't seem ready and I didn't wanna traumatized her. Plus I was tired of following her around :Dwill try again later!

Yeah, he recently starting hitting me and I put a stop to that ASAP. Helllllllz no. I give him the stare down and he stops.

LO is 13 months old and doesn't hit yet, thank goodness, because I know how upset I will be because sometimes she tries to grab at my glasses or my necklace but grabs too hard and either gauges out my eyeballs or leaves scratch marks on my neck and ugh, so terrible.

Charlie says he wants to hit me sometimes when he gets frustrated. He even says that sometimes when Olive frustrates him... that just started happening a few days ago!
We've been training him to express his frustration in words, instead of through violence.

She went through a phase where she would smack at my face and giggle like it was the funniest thing in the world. It didn't bother me much.... until she started doing it to the dog. Then I had to start telling her "no" very firmly and holding her hand back when she did it to me and the dog.
She has since stopped.
